TEC International Co., Ltd. (TECI) was awarded a contract by the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in Japan for the project titled ” FY2023 Waterworks Project Planning Guidance Project (Phase 2)　” in July 2023.

Under this project, TECI will provide advice and guidance to the Government of Timor-Leste for project formulation jointly with Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in Japan, through public-private cooperation.

TECI will take advantage of our previous project experience in the country to assist the Government of Timor-Leste in project formulation along with the Government of Japan for tackling specific issues in water sector in Timor-Leste (facility development, management and maintenance, human resource development, etc.). Also, TECI will enhance the planning capacity of Timor-Leste for carrying out project formulation.

With JICA, TECI is currently implementing the Project for Improvement of Water Supply Management of Timor-Leste (November 2021-present) ,after successfully completingthe Preparatory Survey for the Project for Improvement of Water Supply Management, Timor-Leste (December 2020-January 2021). Through the Project now awarded, TECI will continuously contribute to the sustainable growth of Timor-Leste and improvement of its water environment by proposing optimal projects for the development of its water supply sector, leading to further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
