Sewerage
Approximately 40% of the world's population lacks access to safely managed toilets and sewerage facilities. TECI helps to improve their sewerage systems through research, planning, design, and technology transfer to contribute to development of sewerage facilities in our client countries.
Sewerage system is a basic essential city infrastructure that play a vital role in creating safe environment, healthy water cycle and comfortable living by treating sewage and draining rain. It is also helping to preserve natural environment. However, currently, about 3.5 billion people, which is about 40% of the world population, has no access to adequately maintained toilets.*
TEC International is supporting improvement of sewerage facilities in developing countries through consulting services such as survey, planning, design and technology transfer of sewerage facilities, etc. We analyze impacts of construction and operation of sewerage facilities on people's life, environment, and sustainbility of operation, from the perspective of environment, society, finance, economy, organizational structure and human resource, and make necessary recommendation.
